I’d like to mention
Sometimes the formatting of the caption looks off under the image (for example occasionally it’s not in italics). It’s not that I’ve forgotten, sometimes Tumblr seems to remove the italics on a post so that will be why they won’t show up.
Also, occasionally I get the picture wrong or the caption wrong, that’s just my mistake. Most of the time I spend an afternoon making all the submissions and then just slowly uploading them all, so things can get a bit messy and I apologise if I mess up a submission and forget to put the correct name on it.

44. Seeing obviously domesticated, cute rats used in films as “scary wild rats” and aww’ing.
“My rats don’t need to go to the vets because wild rats live happy lives without needing to go” - I think that the common misconceptions about the difference between wild rats and domestic rats are a problem for every rat owner!
42. When litter pans aren’t deep enough so you’re constantly cleaning the mess that is kicked out
