Anonymous asked: He was actually bought to be a companion for another rat, but the first one prefers to be on his own. I'm wary of getting another one just for the shy rat, but if it's younger would they be more likely to get along rather than the new one attacking him? I'm not worried about my shy rat attacking another since he's never shown any sort of aggression at all.

Mod 2: Generally with introductions, the younger they are the easier it’ll be. Start slow, give them time to adjust - there was another ask very recently about introductions, check it out for more in-depth tips. :)
